Refunds

Digital files are not refundable

Every book is a PDF that is attached to an email as soon as PayU confirms your payment. A file that has been sent cannot be handed back, so we do not refund a book because it turned out not to be what you wanted.

If you are not sure a book will suit your child, try the free 11-page pack first. It uses the same sheet design and the same four-line ruling as the paid books, so it shows you exactly what you would be buying.

If the file does not arrive or will not open

That is ours to fix. Check your spam or promotions folder first, then write to hello@cursivewritingatoz.com with the PayU transaction id from your payment confirmation. We send the file again, or send the book you ordered if the wrong one went out. If we cannot get a working file to you, we refund the payment in full.

If you were charged twice

If one order was paid for twice, the second payment is refunded in full. Send both transaction ids so we can match them.

How long the money takes

When a refund is due under the two cases above, we start it the day we confirm it, and it goes back the way you paid. A refund cannot be sent to a different account from the one the payment came from.

• UPI, whether through PayU or a UPI request, usually two to three working

days.

• Card, through PayU, usually five to seven working days, because the

refund has to travel back through your card issuer.

• Netbanking, through PayU, usually three to five working days.

Those windows are the banks, not us. If the money has not appeared by the end of them, write to us with the date and we will chase PayU with the transaction reference.

What is not refundable

• A book that arrived and opens, whatever the reason.
• The cost of printing at a xerox shop, since that money went to the shop and not to us.
• Bulk or school licences, where the terms are agreed in writing before payment.

If you change your mind before paying

An order form is not a payment. Nothing leaves your account until you complete the payment on PayU, so an order you close before that costs you nothing. Nothing renews, because this is a one-time purchase and not a subscription, and no card is stored anywhere for us to charge again.
