What is inside?
- 26 small letter worksheets. One sheet for each small letter, a to z.
- Height and tail placement on every page. Middle letters between lines 2 and 3, tall letters up to line 1, tails down to line 4.
- Four-line ruling. The same lines as the school notebook, on every writing page.
- Word practice. Four lower-case words at the bottom of every sheet: aam, ant, amma, appam on the a page.
- Certificate. A name line, a date and a parent or teacher line on the last page.

One letter. Five steps.
- 1 Look The model letter, large, sitting in its own height band.
- 2 Trace Light letters to go over with the pencil.
- 3 Copy A model at the start of the row, then the child's own.
- 4 Write Empty four-line rows, no model.
- 5 Word Four lower-case words, so the height stays the lesson.

Why four lines?
Small letters are the reason the notebook has four lines: a, c, e and o live between lines 2 and 3, b, d, h, k, l and t rise to line 1, and g, j, p, q and y drop to line 4. Every sheet in this book shows the child where the letter belongs before they write it.

What age or class is this for?
Class 1 to Class 3, about 5 to 9 years old, when small letters and their heights are the year's work. A UKG child who already writes capitals can start too. Pick the pages that match the hand in front of you rather than the class on the label.
Is this both alphabets?
No. This book is small letters only, a to z. Capitals A to Z are a separate 29-page book at Rs 99. The A to Z pair has both, 55 pages, for Rs 149, which is less than buying the two books one at a time.
Which letters are tall and which have tails?
Middle letters sit between lines 2 and 3: a, c, e, i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z. Tall letters rise to line 1: b, d, f, h, k, l, t. Tail letters drop to line 4: g, j, p, q, y. The letter f does both. Each sheet labels its own height so you can point at it.
Is this a physical book?
No. It is an A4 PDF, emailed after payment. Print it at home or at a xerox shop for about Rs 20 to Rs 30. Nothing is shipped and there is no courier charge.
What pages are included?
29 pages: a cover, a how-to page, 26 small letter sheets and a certificate. Every letter sheet has look, trace, copy and write rows, then four lower-case words, then three boxes to tick.
When does the file arrive?
It is emailed to you automatically as soon as PayU confirms the payment. Weekends and Indian public holidays are slower. It is not an automatic download.
Can I print it again?
Yes, for your own household, as often as you like. The file does not expire. A younger sibling can use the same file. A tuition batch or a school class needs a separate licence, quoted on request.
